I am considering buying a best netbook. I had a look at a recent review of five best netbooks. I would only buy a best netbook if it lets me use iTunes and Photoshop or Paint Shop Pro. Is anyone using either program on his/her best netbook, and if so which best netbook? To be clear I am only asking those of you who know from personal experience. Hearsay or guesses are of no help to me, thank you.

I cannot open the article you mention but I can tell you about my experience with a netbook.
I bought an Advent 4211b (1G 80G) in December and have been happy with it since.
iTunes works fine, PS CS4 installs without a problem. Running PS is not exactly mind blowing, but it does work. Some dialogs are too large to be displayed properly.
I have in the mean time upgraded the HD and memory, With 2 Gig it runs just fine.
Bear in mind that the atom processor is “fast enough”, definitely not a scorcher, but on par with a laptop from 3-4 years ago.
